Criminal Defense Attorneys

If you or a loved one is under investigation or has been arrested, charged, or convicted in a criminal matter, then you need an aggressive criminal defense attorney on your side immediately.

The “Job” of a Criminal Defense Attorney

A criminal defense attorneys’ job is to evaluate every shred of evidence leveled against you –or that evidence which will bolster your position– and fight to get all charges reduced or even dropped all together. Even in cases with the most damning evidence against you, a criminal defense attorney can work vigorously to make sure you obtain the the best possible outcome.

Is there a “hint” that you are being Investigated for a Crime? CALL NOW!

The reason it is in your best interest to CALL AN ATTORNEY at the very beginning –even if you are just being “routinely” investigated– is because an experienced criminal defense attorney can help you negotiate with police or detectives BEFORE they build a case against you and petition the DA to file actual charges against you. Law enforcement and prosecutors can often be reasoned with and talked down in the early stages. Once charges are filed, it is more difficult to get government officials to back-peddle, negotiate or dismiss charges. Simple human nature.

DO NOT Voluntarily Talk to Police WITHOUT an Attorney!

You’ve heard it on the Cop Shows on TV, but in real life, the police seem “so nice” and tell you they just want to “exclude” you from their investigation. If you don’t have a law enforcement person in your family, you will not know that this is often hogwash.

People under investigation for crimes are often “eager” to sit down with police to tell their story, not understanding that most initial conferences are where the police are actively trying to make a CASE AGAINST YOU. That’s their job. Sure, they sound sweet on the phone, or in person when they ask your for a “simple statement,” but the results of being cooperative will often backfire. Badly. CALL an attorney at once. It will cost you nothing to get some preliminary legal advice.

Call Lewis Khashan about your case – (951) 225-4130. He can immediately answer your questions and provide you with the sound legal advice that you need.

Trial Lawyers College

Note from Lewis Khashan: “Gerry’s “Trial Lawyer College” is a special school for lawyers who represent the common person: the injured; the victim. Corporate attorneys —in particular those who represent Insurance Companies— are specifically excluded and NOT invited. Since Gerry began this amazing lawyer-college in 1998, he’s held it every August. If you are lucky enough to be invited, you need only find the “campus!” It is located 20 odd miles east of Dubois, and some 100 miles east of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone in picturesque Wyoming. The Thunderhead Ranch is rimmed by Wyoming’s Absaroka and Wind River Mountains.. It’s an intense, invitation-only, month-long course. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my legal career.”

The Trial Lawyers College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining JUSTICE for individuals; the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned, and to protecting the rights of such people from corporate and government oppression.
